The Nebraska Shrine Bowl Inc. was formed May 13, 1958 to conduct an annual All-star Football Game for graduating high school seniors in the State of Nebraska.

The three Nebraska Shrine Temples, Sesostris - Tangier - Omaha and Tehama - Hastings joined together to form the Shrine Bowl of Nebraska Inc. The main purpose of this premier athletic event is to raise revenue to support Shriners Hospitals for Children and to benefit temple transportation funds.

Our mission is to help provide a higher quality of life for each Shrine Hospital patient.

The date was May 13, 1958 when some thirty Nebraska Shriners including Governor Victor Anderson, filed nonprofit Articles of Incorporation with the Secretary of State to form The Nebraska Shrine Bowl Inc. Official representatives from the three Nebraska Shrine Temples were Cliff Hunt - Tehama, Hastings, NE; Bob Russell - Sesostris, Lincoln, NE and E.E. (Blue) Howell - Tangier, Omaha, NE
