MAIN ACTIVITY:
Parades, circus, visit schools prior to the circus, clown as requested by organizations, businesses, etc. with all contributions going to the Sesostris Hospital Transportation Fund. The clowns also work at the Hospital Screening Clinics.

EVENTS/FUNCTIONS:
Clown of the Year Banquet, Pancake Feed, and a pot luck occasionally with our ladies. Attend the Annual Christmas Party for the residents of the Nebraska State Home in Beatrice.

INVOLVEMENT OF FAMILY MEMBERS:
Ladies are invited to the banquet, pancake feed and when we have a potluck prior to a regular meeting.

MEETINGS:
4th Thursday of each month at the Shrine Activities Center.

PREREQUISITES TO JOIN:
Must be a Shrine member in good standing, enjoy working with children. Six month probation with participation while in make-up at a number of activities. Required to attend a minimum of six unit functions in costume and make-up during the six-month period as an apprentice clown. Application signed by 2 clowns prior to the six-month period. Voting for regular membership occurs at a regular meeting.
